Ian McElreath joined Perch with 17 years of extensive industry experience, raising capital on behalf of institutional investment firms for private real estate, debt, equity, and energy funds. As a senior vice president at Cantor Fitzgerald, Ian helped launch the firm’s first 1031 Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) offerings and Opportunity Zone funds. In his previous roles as external wholesaler, he was responsible for consulting on various annuity, life insurance, and alternative investment products with investment advisors and broker dealers across the country at firms such as Cantor Fitzgerald, Realty Capital, KBS, and Pacific Life.
Ian is extremely well versed in the formation, structure, and strategy of alternative investments and their use in portfolio allocations. Having worked with some of the leading wealth management firms in the country, he wanted to apply the best practices he learned from top advisors and start his own practice, helping individuals and businesses achieve their investment dreams.
Ian graduated from the University of San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as a Florida health and life insurance license. He lives in the South Tampa area with his wife Tonilynn, two kids, and three dogs. He enjoys exercising, watching sports, and golfing at Feather Sound Country Club and is an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tampa.
